The City of Hawthorne held a celebration for Juneteenth. The event took place on June 13th, 2026 at Holly Park. 

Attendees were able to enjoy food, watch dance performances and listen to live music - including the band Durti-Ryce featuring Deron. The theme of this event was unity as the community came together as one to smile, laugh and celebrate.
