The City of Hawthorne held a watch party for the FIFA World Cup. The event took place on June 13th, 2026 in the City Hall parking lot. 

The event also featured food vendors, futsal games, jumpers, face painting and more. The goal was to create a welcoming space where residents could gather and experience the excitement of the World Cup together.
