Elected Officials and City Staff toured the construction site of the Senior Center Project and the City Yard Project.

The Senior Center Project began construction in February 2025 and is estimated to be completed by April 2026 with many new changes and upgrades throughout including, increased access and visibility, enhanced design and outdoor features, ADA Compliance and Code Upgrades, and expanded community programs and space. This project was 10,800 square feet and is being upgrades to 20,000 square feet by its completion. 

 The City Yard Project began in January 2025 and is expected to be completed by June 2026 going from 79,000 square feet to 62,000 square feet. The new site will offer a centrally located site for better access and service delivery, increased storage capacity and room for operational growth, compliant with current building codes and built for energy efficiency, locker rooms and showers, conference room, two story public office and more.
