The City of Hawthorne, in collaboration with Republic Services and Martinez Landscape, held a Community Cleanup event on Saturday, March 15th. Volunteers gathered at the Betty Ainsworth Sports Center parking lot to pickup cleaning supplies and form groups to disperse to various locations around the city to pick up trash and bulky items. 

The City of Hawthorne holds two Community Cleanup events a year and all are welcome to join. Thank you to those volunteers that showed up and helped clean up with community,
