The 17th Annual Operation Gobble, spearheaded by Councilmember Angie Reyes English, was held at Hawthorne City Hall on November 21st. The event invited Hawthorne residents to register to receive a free turkey. This year, the event handed out 300 turkeys to families in hopes of bringing them some joy and a delicious meal in their home this Thanksgiving.
