The Jim Thorpe Park Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held on Monday, March 13, 2023 at 10:30AM.

The remodeled park includes new playground equipment, a fitness zone, basketball courts, BBQ pits, a covered picnic area and more.

The project was funded by prop 68, Measure A and Development Impact fees.Total project cost was $1 million dollars and took 8 months to complete.

The City Manager and Councilmembers were present to receive Certificates of Recognition from representatives from Senator Steven Bradford's Office and the Assembly District 61 Office.
