The City of Hawthorne held a Council Meeting on March 10th, 2026.

Prior to the meeting, a Meet N' Greet was held in the City Hall lobby. Schnierow Dental Care and Sports Basement were 2 of the local businesses that were featured. 

During the Council Meeting, proclamations were given out to the participants of Hawthorne Eats Restaurant Week. Additionally, the City gave out its Good Neighbor awards.
