The City of Hawthorne held a Council Meeting on October 28th, 2025. 

During the meeting, Hawthorne Police Chief Gary Tomatani was recognized for his 31 years of service. Chief Tomatani also notified the City Council of his pending retirement.

Additionally, 2 proclamations were given out to members of the community.
