The City of Hawthorne held a Council Meeting on October 14th, 2025. 

During the meeting, the City gave out it's Good Neighbor awards. The winners were Brandon Pratt from the Media Department, Catherine Alcantara from Administrative Services, Angela Lee from Public Works, and HPD officer Santos Jimenez. Additionally, the City appointed several new commissioners.
