Prior to the May 13th City Council Meeting, another Meet 'N Greet was held where 2 Hawthorne businesses provided information and a taste of their product; Del Cid Coffee shared some freshly brewed coffee and Unify Credit Union handed out information. 

During the City Council Meeting, proclamations and certificates of recognition were also given to several Hawthorne Public Work officers for their heroic acts during a home fire. Thank you for your bravery and going above and beyond for the community.
