City Council held two proclamations at the first council meeting of the year.

First, a proclamation was given to IT Department retiree Peggy Holt for working in Hawthorne for over 40 years. She was an integral part of the IT department since the start and will truly be missed. 

 The Hawthorne Police Department was also given a proclamation for the departments contributions and efforts in assisting during the Easton Fire this month. Thank you to all the brave men and women for their work day in and out.
