The City of Hawthorne held a Swearing-in Ceremony for the newly-elected and re-elected officials. Newly-elected Councilmember Faye Johnson, re-elected Mayor Alex Vargas and re-elected Councilmember Angie Reyes English took the Oath of Office and signed the Oath of Affirmation for their positions on the Hawthorne City Council. The ceremony was held prior to the City Council Meeting of December 10th in the City Hall lobby with family, friends and residents in attendance. 

During the City Council Meeting, a ceremonial Oath of Office took place inside the council chambers before the Elected Officials took the dais.
