Certificates are intended to recognize and commend individuals or organizations for their significant contributions to Hawthorne. Certificates will be issued to current residents of Hawthorne or to organizations affiliated with the community.

To facilitate timely processing, requests should be submitted at least four weeks in advance of the desired date. Please be aware that the submission of a request does not ensure the issuance of a certificate.

Additionally, this request does not guarantee that an in-person presentation of the award will be conducted by an elected official.
