Local Hazard Mitigation Plan
Introduction
The City of Hawthorne has prepared their Local Hazard Mitigation Plan (LHMP) in order to assess the natural caused risks to the City so as to reduce the potential impact of the hazards by creating mitigation strategies. The LHMP represents the City’s commitment to create a safer, more resilient, community by taking actions to reduce risk and by committing resources to lessen the effects of hazards on the people and property of the City.
