NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Hawthorne will hold a Public Hearing to consider adoption of a Development Impact Fee Nexus Study and adoption of updated Development Impact Fees, including increases to existing fees and adoption of all proposed fees, pursuant to the Mitigation Fee Act (Government Code Section 66000 et seq.).

At the Public Hearing, the City Council will consider adoption of a Development Impact Fee Nexus Study prepared by DTA, dated March 30, 2026 and adoption of updated Development Impact Fees applicable to new development within the City of Hawthorne.
The Development Impact Fee Nexus Study and related materials will be available for public review at least thirty (30) days prior to the Public Hearing. Documents may be reviewed at the City Clerk’s Office, 4455 West 126th Street, Hawthorne, CA 90250 or here: Development Impact Fee Nexus Study.
All interested persons are invited to attend and provide comments at the hearing. Written comments may be submitted prior to the hearing to the City Clerk’s Office or by email to cityclerk@hawthorneca.gov.
