Hawthorne, Ca- June 10, 2025 -The City of Hawthorne invites the community to celebrate Juneteenth with a day of music, culture and unity on Saturday, June 14, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Hawthorne City Hall, located at 4455 W. 126th St.

Residents of all ages are welcome to join the festivities honoring the historic significance of Juneteenth, the holiday commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States. The free event will feature live music, jumpers, a car show, food trucks and arts and crafts.

“The City of Hawthorne is proud to bring our community together to celebrate freedom and heritage,” said City Councilmember “We encourage everyone to join us in honoring this important milestone in American history.”
