City of Hawthorne Announces New Recreational Swim Hours at Aquatics Center Starting April 2

HAWTHORNE, Calif., April 7, 2025 – The City of Hawthorne Community Services Department is pleased to announce the new recreational swim hours at the Hawthorne Aquatics Center, 12501 Inglewood Ave., beginning Wednesday, April 2nd.
“We’re excited to offer our community more time in the pool,” said Community Services Deputy Director Kywanna Bowie. “There’s no better way to beat the summer heat!”
The updated schedule offers increased opportunities for community members to enjoy the pool:
• Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays: 4 to 6 p.m.
• Saturdays and Sundays: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
These year-round recreational swim hours provide residents with a fun and safe environment to enjoy aquatic activities.
The Hawthorne Aquatics Center also hosts swim lessons, lap swim hours, water aerobics for adults and a junior lifeguard program. Head to Community Services - Pool or call (310) 349-1640 to learn more about each program, and to access registration details.
