The Anti-Bullying Art Contest winners were recognized on October 23, 2018 in the City Council Chambers. All students in the Hawthorne High School District from grades 6th through 12th were invited to enter. Each student was challenged to develop a visual image or spoken word that best represents; Friendship, Compassion, Kindness, Respect, Acceptance.

Council Member Haidar presented prize certificates to the winners.
